The audit is the key stage of a wealth strategy, enabling us to identify, measure and value the nature of your wealth and the issues surrounding it, in terms of both how it is held and how it is passed on.

Before any restructuring proposal, we will carry out a comprehensive wealth audit, covering both your personal and your business assets, which will serve as the basis for all the assignments arising from your objectives.

• Study of the civil, tax and inheritance implications of your situation for your wealth as a whole, and identification of the various restructuring options enabling you to make decisions on what is at stake, how it is held and how it is passed on
• Analysis of your current personal and professional situation, through the provision of all the documents and information required to carry out this assignment properly
• Identification and mapping of your family structure
• Mapping of your wealth by ownership structure, by type of asset, by place of holding and by liabilities (determining the current amount of your debts)
• Current valuation of your wealth
• Determination of the tax implications of holding your wealth and in the event of predecease
• Analysis of existing corporate clauses and determination of the current protection of beneficiaries in the event of predecease and/or incapacity
• Analysis of current insurance policies and determination of the level of protection of the company director with regard to their beneficiaries, partners and/or companies in the event of predecease and/or incapacity
• Highlighting of all the issues and risks identified in your current structure

Would you like support in restructuring your current wealth? In light of the above, and on the basis of the wealth audit carried out beforehand, our assignment will consist of:

• Proposing areas for improvement with a view to optimal wealth restructuring
• Presenting, for each of these optimal solutions, the legal, tax and inheritance consequences that would result

Over the course of a lifetime, a family and its wealth may evolve and objectives may change (marriage, birth, death, relocation, property acquisition, etc.).

• Advice and assistance in choosing a matrimonial property regime and in revising civil contracts (prenuptial agreement, marriage contract, civil partnership, etc.)
• Anticipation of the consequences, and support during proceedings for a change of matrimonial regime, separation or divorce
• Study of the civil and tax implications of a change of tax residence from/to Monaco and/or from/to abroad, and of cross-border tax issues
• Study of the civil and tax implications of holding your wealth, whether you are a resident or a non-resident of the Principality of Monaco
• Advice and support on structuring the acquisition of a property, and study of the tax implications of holding it, operating it, selling it or passing it on
• Study of the implications of acquiring and/or selling a real estate or movable asset
• Advice and assistance with decisions and formalities relating to gifts and transfers of wealth during your lifetime or upon death
• Assistance in setting up family governance
• Administration and management of day-to-day family affairs and of all formalities relating to the family’s change of residence
